Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making and television production. Among other things, After Effects can be used for keying, tracking,root scoping, compositing and animation. It also functions as a very basic non-linear editor, audio editor and media trans coder.

Adobe Free Hand (formerly Macromedia Freehand) is a computer application for creating two-dimensional vector graphics that are oriented primarily to professional illustration, desktop publishing and content creation for the Web. Free Hand is similar in scope, intended market, and functionality to Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and Xara Designer Pro. Because of Free Hand�s dedicated page layout and text control features, it also compares to Adobe In Design and Quark XPress. Adobe Illustrator was first developed for the Apple Macintosh in December 1986 (shipping in January 1987) as a commercialization of Adobe's in-house font development software and PostScript file format. Adobe Illustrator is the companion product of Adobe Photoshop. Photoshop is primarily geared toward digital photo manipulation and photorealisticstyles of computer illustration, while Illustrator provides results in the typesetting and logo graphic areas of design. Early magazine advertisements (featured in graphic design trade magazines such as Communication Arts) referred to the product as "the Adobe Illustrator". Illustrator 88, the product name for version 1.7, was released in 1988 and introduced many new tools and features. As of 2011, the Adobe Illustrator 88 file format is used in the MATLAB programming language as an option to save figures.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application. It is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes video editing, graphic design, and web development programs. Premiere Pro is used by broadcasters such as the BBC and CNN. It has been used to edit feature films, such as Gone Girl, Captain Abu Raed, and Monsters, and other venues such as Madonna's Confessions Tour. Premiere Pro is the redesigned successor to Adobe Premiere, and was launched in 2003. Premiere Pro refers to versions released in 2003 and later, whereas Premiere refers to the earlier releases. Premiere was one of the first computer-based NLEs (non-linear editing system), with its first release on Mac in 1991. Up until version Premiere Pro 2.0 (CS2), the software packaging featured a galloping horse, in a nod to Eadweard Muybridge's work, "Sallie Gardner at a Gallop".

Adobe Flash (formerly called Macromedia Flash and Shock wave Flash) is a multimedia and software platform used for creating vector graphics,animation, games and rich Internet applications (RIAs) that can be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player. Flash is frequently used to serve streaming media, advertisement and interactive multimedia content on web pages and Flash-enabled software. However, in recent years, the usage of Flash on websites has declined.
Flash manipulates vector and raster graphics to provide animation of text, drawings, and still images. It allows bidirectional streaming of audio and video, and it can capture mouse, keyboard, microphone and camera input. Interactive Flash animations are created using the object-oriented language called Action Script. Flash content can be developed using an IDE such Adobe Flash Professional. Adobe's attempt to foster open source Flash development appears to have been abandoned. Adobe Flash Player makes Flash contents accessible on Windows, OS X and Linux, some smartphones and tablets, and a few other electronic devices using Flash Lite. It is available free of charge for web browsers as a plug-in. Flash-enabled computer programs can be created with the Adobe AIR framework.

Adobe Dreamweaver is a proprietary web development tool developed by Adobe Systems. Dreamweaver was created by Macromedia in 1997, and was maintained by them until Macromedia was acquired by Adobe Systems in 2005. Adobe Dreamweaver is available for OS X and for Windows. Following Adobe's acquisition of the Macromedia product suite, releases of Dreamweaver subsequent to version 8.0 have been more compliant with W3C standards. Recent versions have improved support for Web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and various server-side scripting languages and frameworks including ASP (ASP JavaScript, ASP VB Script, ASP.NET C#, ASP.NET VB), ColdFusion, Script let, and PHP.
